Zambia’s Education system comprises the Lower education and the Higher Education. The Lower Education consists of:

• Primary — grades one to seven.
• Junior Secondary — grades eight and nine.
• Senior Secondary — grades ten to twelve.

Most of the schools are under the Zambian Government and follow the Zambian Curriculum set by the Examinations Council of Zambia.
